????? ????? Braty Bluzu means Brothers in Blues and has some sneeky 2nd meaning in the Ukranian language I don\'t remember, something like funky looking or so. The group exists since 15 years and makes a very special mix between Ukrainian Folk sound, Jazz and Rock! They lived and worked some years in the USA, now back in Ukrain, performing in Europe (Austria, Hungary, Germany..) Myroslav Levytsky: piano, keyboards Oleg Levytsky: saxophone Kyrylo Stecenko: violin Andrii Melnyk: bass Sergii Taftai: guitars Die Gruppe Braty Bluzu gibt es schon seit mehr als 15 Jahren. Sie hat eine CD in Deutschland produziert und mehrere in der Ukraine. Bei den Unabhängigkeitsfeiern (u.a. beim Bill Clinton Besuch in Kiev) hat Braty Bluzu eine wichtige Rolle gespielt und sich einen Namen gemacht. Konzerte gab es in den USA und ganz Europa (Deutschland, Frankreich, Ungarn, Österreich, Polen, Slowakei). Die Musiker gehören zur absoluten Spitze ihres Landes. Ursprünglich ein Fusion Quintett, werden bei der aktuellen Tournee neue akustischeTrio-Fassungen des Repertoires gebracht! Durch eine zufällige Begegnung von Myroslav Levytsky und Lionel Lodge (Dauerduopartner von Rens Newland) in Budapest und den Willen etwas Internationales auf den Beinen zu stellen, kam die Zusammenarbeit mit Österreich zustande. Das gemeinsame Project "Music without borders" brachte die Österreichischen Solisten schon 5 mal in die Ukraine - u.a mit Kammerorchester, Braty Bluzu kam zu österreichischen Ehren beim Linz-Fest. Musikalisch ist das Projekt ein interessanter Crossover zwischen Klassik, Gipsymusic und Jazz German.
