Upgrading my iMac using Crucial memory

I had purchased a 27' iMac mid 2015. It came with only 8GB of DDR3L RAM. I wanted to upgrade the memory but I was apprehensive about the cost that Apple would charge me and the risk of getting it wrong if I had done it myself. Cutting a long story short, after watching various YouTube posts and reading various blogs, I decided to have a go at upgrading it myself. I had purchased 2 x 8 gb of Crucial RAM a couple of years ago to see how stable the system would be. This took the total capacity to 24 gb. • New lease of life for ageing MBP

Has sped up my ‘mid 2012 non-retina 13” no end and is not over loaded when using multiple browser tabs like it used to with the stock 4gb.

  • Price and Delivery excellent

Product is visually fine but unable to verify performance I bought these to try to upgrade a 2010 MacBook Pro but didn’t realise that the mhz rating was incompatible MY MISTAKE Anyone one else doing this needs to use 1066mhz RAM

  • MacBook Pro RAM

MacBook Pro came with only 4GB RAM, the manual suggested this could be increased to 8GB, but I read elsewhere it could take up to 16GB. A relatively cheap upgrade, previously the computer was crashing on a heavy application and now appears to be running fine.
