    Compelling story and prelude to author's "One Wave at a Time".

    Billy Bryan Brown is a great author with a wonderful ability to captivate his readers! This is a must read if a person also read his other book "One Wave at a Time". Both books are easy reads that you don't want to put down! This "Alaskan Bush People" patriarch struggled through adversity with all his many adventures to become a well respected man with high moral values and by example to his children instilled in them the same ethical standards.

    Beautiful book on life, before and after loss.

    If you have followed the tv series then this book gives you a great insight into Billy’s life before and after he met Ami. Beautifully written and a truly captivating book. It is well worth reading, I love it a truly inspirational book.
