    I knew the story had the movie but didn't know where it was. I bought it again and we watched it when it got there. Fabulous. Anybody that like Star Trek and can stand the Borg you'll love this

    ST: First Contact 2-Disc DVD Review

    I won't belabor the point of how good this movie is. You can read any critical review of the film to glean that information. This DVD release, part of the 2-Disc Special Collectors Edition set that was released the better part of a decade ago, is an excellent addition to any Trek fan's collection. Paramount Studios has a tendency to release blockbuster films in one-disc editions with no special features to speak of. The Star Trek films were no different. Thankfully, the producers put together this series of 2-disc versions that go deep into the making of each film. This release delves into the evolution of the Borg from their early appearances on TNG through the film and on into Voyager. They also have hours of features discussing the making of the film.     I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MOVIE WHICH HAS EVERYTHING EXCELLENT YOU HAVE COME TO EXPECT FROM THE STAR TREK SERIES. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE STAR TREK MOVIES TO DATE. ALL OF THE ORIGINAL CAST OF COURSE KEEPS YOU ON YOUR TOES, BUT MARINA SIRTIS (DEANA TROY) OUTDID HERSELF WHILE JAMES CROMWELL (ZEFRAM COCHRAN)IN MY OPINION DID ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMANCES IN HIS ACTING CAREER.     My favorite Star Trek TNG movie!

    My favorite Star Trek: The Next Generation movie! Great movie, great plot, great actors, great lines! Resistance is futile! Features my favorite Star Trek: The Next Generation nemesis: The Borg! Picard and his crew must once again stop The Borg from drastically changing the past (and ergo the future). They must also stop The Borg from taking over the Enterprise to use it to help assimilate humanity, thereby destroying their future!
