I have several high security padlocks and chains all equal to this one but my insurance provider said unless the are recommended by 'Lock Secure' I would not be covered for theft. Hence I had to buy one that carries the 'Lock Secure' recommendation. Personally I think that ' Lock Secure' have managed to set up the perfect ( legal ) racket and just wonder how many insurance companies re in their pocket. Oxford gp chain
It looks a lot better in the pictures. For £30 i was expecting a lot heavier chain its fairly lightweight in all honesty' a determined bike thief would not be put off by this chain its ok but there's better about for £30. Il use it along side my main lock as a secondary visual deterrent. Its more suited to mountain bikes etc than protecting your pride and joy honda/yamaha/Harley etc.

Lock for linking to other bike.
It seems a strong lock and chain. Probably not likely to deter a determined thief (what will). But, linking to another bike helps. It is quite sturdy and heavy. Good value for the money. JUST long enough to link two front wheels together easily.

Solid piece of kit
Second one of these I have owned in my Motorcycling history. It's robust, has a protective cover so the chain doesn't damage your prized steed and I guess the major factor, I have never had a bike stolen!
