We briefly tested one of these crystal earpieces just received and found they are slightly more sensitive than the same type manufactured today. This seems to be consistent with information on some forums. The cable type is a giveaway, and not the more usual twisted type. I wonder when they were made. Looking down the "barrel" it looks like a thinner diaphragm with the piezo bonded through it. Recommended if you are trying a crystal radio for the first time.
