Does the job !
If you have damaged or want to convert a straight mic stand to a boom stand then this boom arm fits the bill perfectly. Its of good quality and does the job. Its on the short side at only 500mm. If I were to need another I would look for an 800mm arm which I think would be more balanced. However, having said that I do think its fit for purpose.

I actually bought the wrong one they come in 500 mm and 800 but 500 is OK. The arm is sturdy and I particularly like the T Clamp which is quite robust and looks like good quality certainly better than the one that I had which snapped hence the reason for a replacement. Yeah! Good value for money.
