      This item worked well when it eventually arrived,well when I went to pick it up. Like ALWAYS with DPD they faked delivery sent a text saying it would be delivered. So I set up the plumber as I had no hot water in the house. Then like always they sent another text to say they attempted to,deliver but I wasn’t in. All rubbish ! I had to cancel the plumber as it was a Saturday I had to pay a fee.Then another text to say it had been delivered to a Co-Op store in Reading. So I had to collect it my

      Potterton Ignition Control..New Old Stock.

      Item arrived very quickly and as it was new-old stock, i was half expecting it not to work. Fitting it was easy and took about five minutes. Switched on....nothing. There is a tiny fuse on the front, so i switched the power off and took it out for a closer look, it seemed fine but i changed it anyway. Switched the boiler back on...worked perfectly. The unit has probably been sitting on a shelf for 20+ years so i can'y complain about one tiny fuse.

      Well worth it.

      This item was a used product, so it was a little bit of a gamble buying something with no guarantee, but when it arrived I could see straight away that it looked good, there was no burn marks on the solder joints or anything else. I installed it and was instantly proven right, and it has since been performing as it should do,. The delivery time was also excellent, which is always a bonus.

      Reconditioed Netaheat controller.

      This old style boiler control last about 10 years or so and reconditioned units a good deal BUT look out for bad solder joints ie "dry joints - DJs". My purchase had bad arcing on all HT solder joints. High voltage sparks jumping all over. If you're unable to repair board faults, please buy the more expensive NEW one.

      Main Burner Ignition

      Existing faulty PCB would light the boiler pilot but the main burner would not. If the board was tapped lightly the PCB relay would click and then the main gas valve solonoid would clonk and the main burner would ignite. This replacement PCB worked correctly and the boiler has been back in service now for over a week. Many thanks.

      working within 24hrs

      aged parents boiler went down at coldest time, the part came in exceptionally good time, fitted up and working within 24hrs. So far no problems after 2 weeks. Price was better than having to waste time doing an exchange.
