WELL WORTHY OF THE ROYAL WARRANT
I recently purchased this umbrella as a replacement for an identical model which I mislaid (but was still working perfectly). The canopy size is excellent considering its compact dimensions. The auto-opening and shaft mechanisms are precise and highly-durable, as is the rib assembly. The easy-grip handle is an added bonus. It may appear relatively expensive, but it is built and designed to last for years...unlike my cheaper previous purchases, which ended up in litter bins once the wind-speed exceeded 10 mph. Rather lightweight in construction but appears tougher than that would suggest & the compactness is helpful. May not be suitable where heavy duty use is required

I waited until it rained to write this review. Comfortable wooden handle - Allows you to hang the umbrella in your forearm. Poor paint coat in handle. (One Star Down) Good thick coverage. Good and strong opening mechanism. High wind resistance. Withstand inversion pretty well ... And after seeing right next to me two guys struggling with their inside out turned umbrellas...
