After touring in 2009, The Black Crowes spent time at the Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles, recording over 20 songs from their 20 year history. The band arranged acoustic versions of many of their best loved songs and personal favorites. Produced by Paul Stacey and released on The Black Crowes label, Silver Arrowith.

    In the Beginning...

    This is The Black Crows cd I've been waiting a long time for.When the Black Crows are plugged-in they can rock it,but these songs go to the place where the music is born.Lots of great songs minus electricity.Guitars,bass,harmonica,piano/organ,and all the soul Chris Robinson's voice can deliver...southern blues,gospel,country.Appalachian folk and bluegrass delivered to you like only the Black Crows can.All of their best songs are included so enjoy the ride

    Black Crowes revisted

    I have the first 4 studio CD's. This culls most of the best material from those CD's & more - brilliantly recorded. The songs they chose are the ones you want to hear & these renditions came out great.

    Awesome new music by the Black crows

    The Black crows do not let us down with their new cd the black crows croweology. Their new music is just as great as it was in the 1990's. Not all bands can do that but again the black crows outdo themselves.
