It requires some effort if you're wishing to fit a power drill or reciprocating saw. I found that the layers didn't come apart as cleanly as you'd expect them to, in fact it is difficult to remove even one layer at a time. But, having said all that, it's worth the effort. The idea is really good and as long as you follow the tools outline, you'll get a snug fit
