    John Trudell was a kindred spirit and a voice of the First Nations

    I like the music and poetry of John Trudell, and this CD was reasonably priced and although the price was pretty good, you can't put a price on the quality of John Trudell's music and Johnny Damas and Me is no exception. I have had his "Blue Indians" CD for two decades, and have always enjoyed it and I decided that I needed some more of John Trudell's music. I am planning on buying more as soon as doing it won't get me an overdraft fee for running my checking account into a hole! I'm not including any photos because it is impossible to capture music using the photons a photograph depends on. John Trudell has passed into the spirit world, but he still lives when I play his music.

    Johnny Damas And Me - Trudell, John

    It is an interesting cd to say the least. I was not sure what I was getting but it ended up being poetry set to music. I like John Trudell as an actor and was not disapointed by his cd. John Trudell having been in and around the troubles of reservation life has made a very good cd that is worth listing to.

    John Trudell The Rockin' Poet

    Out of all his CD's, this is still my favorite. John's lyrical poetry cannot be beat...He mixes his true emotion and thought into every song...and let's not forget his radical NDN side ;) There is a song for every emotion on Johnny Damas And Me. I'm sure you can relate to what he's saying, thinking, feeling.
