    Helps a lot

    Of course there are higher end and much more expensive studio subwoofers, but this does the job and really helps me hear and mix the low end. The connectivity and lo and hi cut filters are functional and well thought out. At this price point I recommend this sub. Yamaha makes good stuff.

    Ok Sub

    This sub is a medium great sub. Works well and reliably. However, not very loud, the EQ is hard to get to and is pretty weak. I bought it to match the 7" Yamahas I currently had. Works as design as a set. Purchase experience was great. No problems. Wish I spent a little more money on a better sub thought..

    Great Monitor Subwoofer

    I got this to add low end frequency representation missing from my pair of Yamaha HS5 monitors connected to my Yamaha Montage 8 synth workstation. The HS5 monitors are great by themselves if you don't need deep bass, but if you want the full range, this will do the trick very well, especially for a home studio.

    Great sub

    Bought it broken to save $$. The best part is the driver started to smoke as soon as it was switched on.... just needed a new driver. Couldn’t be happier as the unit itself is a sleek black and the amp is still in great shape. Paired with hs8 mains this bass bin does studio monitoring wonders. Even at full price I recommend this sub.

    Just what the (ear) doctor ordered to get the bottom end in order on my mixes

    Introduced some type pf ground loop interference but a ground lift cleared that up. Love. Perfectly matched with my HS8 monitors and just the right size for my modest studio (12x14).
