Don't pull from the centre of the ball though, that's what I usually do, but it doesn't work with this wool unless you're very lucky. It gets tangled easily and takes a while to sort out, although because it's slippery, you can retrieve it. The end result is super soft and fluffy, I've made a hot water bottle cover which is luxurious.
