    strong yet lightweight design

    pro- very robust design.( I needed a tool that could be used professionally ) cons.I needed to sand down underside of plastic plunger to remove sharp edges before use .The nails at the other end would work more efficiently in extracting deep rooted weeds if they were 3 to 4 cms longer ,hence only 4 stars

    Too short for deep weeds

    I previously had a similar Dandelion remover which ,though rather lightweight did the job well for two years. Seeing this very sturdy item I purchased it thinking that it would do the same job and last a lifetime. It will last my lifetime but the 'tines' are so short that they close only about 2" (5cms) below ground level cutting off any root below that level. Consequently established weeds are back after a few days. Looks like having to buy another cheaper lightweight one and keep this for new seedlings.

    Sturdy , efficient and well priced..

    It does pull out the weeds much better than I expected , it is efficient , but I can't see it being less efficient on dry ground , but to be fair, it does say to work on damp soil. . I would not hesitate to recommend it for the very reasonable price that it is ,and it certainly helps those who find kneeling on the ground a problem .

    A life saver

    I am disabled and unable to bend so getting the weeds out of the lawn was impossible until I bought this, strong and easy to use with no bending. It removes the root with little effort. Both my elderly neighbours have bought one after seeing mine. Great value to.

    Great gadget

    I had more dandelions than grass on my lawn, so thought I would try this. It takes a bit of effort to push it in deep enough as my 'lawn' doesn't grow too well due to the property behind us having a row of Sycamore trees very close to the boundary and you can tell where the roots of the trees are. But this gadget is doing wonders for the look of the lawn. Would recommend it.
