The Stunning, The Awful, and The Movie
First off, ... It was stunningly intense fight scenes. Tony Jaa never uses wires or stunt doubles, which is what makes him so incredible to watch. ... I liked the first movie better. -- This is the good stuff I have to say about Ong Bak 2... now the negative -- I'll start with the emporer's laugh because it annoyed me the most (that laugh went out with Dr. Evil) ... the acting, I'll be completely honest, I've seen some porn stars do a better job in similar roles. ... Forced sound effects, ... the flying arrows, they used the same type of hightened sound effects in Power Rangers. ... Flashbacks... I didn't even know when they were in flashback mode, I didn't know it was 'the past' until I saw the bracelet on the dancing girl... I thought he was the emporer's son, not the 'emporer' ... I don't know where the crazy chicks (bird girl and tiger girl) came from, there was no back story or forward story... if you asked me right now what was really going on in the movie, I couldn't tell you..... but again, yes, it's amazing to watch tony jaa.... Even his past movies need to get with the times though, I'm sure even the new Robin Hood with Russell Crowe will have a big back story, if you're going to do a movie about the past, you need a bigger back story... toss the tragic shakespearean endings... I've seen enough asian fight movies with the main character or support character die at the end,... in the case of this sequel (prequel),... when the acting fails, the shakespearean ending has no effect. ... and yeah, the acting was better in the first movie. That's my review... obviously I found alot of little details throughout the movie that annoyed me,... but I keep saying Tony Jaa's fight scenes are amazing because I've honestly never seen anything like them. Hopefully Ong Bak 3 will learn from the mistakes of Ong Bak 2. I look forward to seeing what he'll do next. Just don't give up!

Great fighting movie
This is a great martial arts movie, Tony jaa is a incredable fighter and directs his own movies. Unlike the original Ong bak this one combines all styles of martial arts in one, witch also includes all styles of weaponry. This is awsome in blue-ray but probably great anyway u see it.
