    Captain Blood First of the Swashbucklers.

    This Film was Errol Flynn's first leading Role. If like me you love the excitement & romance of this sort of Film, Captain Blood remains Top of the Genre. The Korngold soundtrack starts right here, and is as engaging & Exciting now as it was then, you can't get better than these two Great ingredients, without adding the Grace and Magic of the Young Olivia De Havilland, which it was. The chemistry and sheer talent of these two, backed by Korngold's Music, & an intelligently written Script & great direction. It is simply the first of many great Films from the team, A Real Classic of Action, Romance & Happy Endings. Perfect.

    Swashbuckling fun

    This dvd was a present for my husband and he enjoys swashbuckling films. Errol Flyn and Olivia De Havilland are very strong actors. This film was released in 1935 and is still worth watching today.
