My ONLY complaint is that the battery doesn't hold much of a charge. I might be able to make it through lighting up one pack of cigarettes before needing a recharge. The flashlight component is very bright, but drains the battery in a rapid fashion. Overall, it's alright as a backup lighter. The seller is FANTASTIC to work with. AAAAA+++++ seller!!!

I tested this with dry, and wet and even semi damp wood. For Survival this would be a No No. It will not light even damp wood. It does work great on dry wood. As a backup way to light a fire it would be a good option to carry, but I would have a different way to light a fire first. The lighter will light some things easily like paper towels and Dry tooth picks. As a backup it's worth the price, and the seller was great. Seller 5 Stars. Lighter 3.5 to 4 Stars at most. Not for Survival Use.

Item as described, and fast shipping with tracking. It's better than the old one I had before, the electrodes are right on top, not recessed into a slot. That makes it much easier to light the fire pit. The flashlight is brighter than I expected, and that's saying something because my EDC flashlight is a Fenix PD36TAC with 3,000 lumens.
