  • Awesome powerhouse performance, a must for Dio Sabbath fans.

WOW! This dvd is everything I expected and more, a definite must for Dio Sabbath fans. Dio's voice is very strong and haunting as you'd expect, Iomi's guitar work is mesmerizing as always, Butler's warm yet blistering bass rocks as Appice's pounding drums kick your butt. This line up made one more awesome live recording in 2009 at the Wacken Festival in Europe, Neon Nights 30 years of Heaven & Hell. It's hard to believe after seeing these powerhouse performances Ronnie James Dio passed away from stomach cancer in May of 2010 just before the release of Neon Nights, both shows will go down in my Rock & Roll History Book as unforgettable performances from these legends of Rock n' Roll. R.I.P Ronnie James Dio

  • Amazing performances!

Having seen the Sabs with Dio in 1981 (Madison Square Garden, NYC) and again on the "Dehumanizer" tour (The Beacon, NYC) I knew what to expect from this line up....total perfection. The years past have only improved this lot! The Radio City show simply kills....to all you young bands out there: "This is how you do a show" ...stunning!! The drums, the bass, the voice, the GUITAR!! Iommi is still top god of rock, Geezer top notch, Vinny is rock solid, pounding away, and what else can we say about our "Troll of Rock n Roll" Ronnie? This was/is the VERY best material of his career, simply classic! I'm actually thrilled there is no "Dio doing Ozzy" material on this disc...it's not necessary at all....then always will come the "comparisions". This show proves (as if we needed proof) the total ...

  • Best Sabbath, er Heaven and Hell DVD

This concert is of the reunion of the Black Sabbath lineup with Ronnie James Dio on vocals playing under the name 'Heaven and Hell'. It is filmed at Radio City Music Hall. Short version, this concert ROCKS like only Black Sabbath can. I would have easily paid twice the amount for this DVD. Any die hard Black Sabbath fan will want this video. Many younger people would do well to get this video also, so they can see how it is supposed to be done. Bands today suck, Sabbath has been rockin for 40 years. Coincidence? I think not.
