Took a while to arrive but to be fair it was free postage. I was astonished how much this stuff had increased in price but this was the cheapest 1litre option I could find on line for £18 (noting I bought same stuff - Gallop- but 5 Litres for only £26 just 3 yrs ago…. Key thing is this is by far the most effective stuff I’ve used and I’ve tried all from high strength vinegar, SALT, SBK (triclopyr) a tip is add a small amount of washing up liquid to mix - it helps product ‘stick’ to foliage.

Bringing bamboo under control
I needed a good weedkiller to bring a bamboo plant under control, I’d tried the well know ones but nothing touched it. Until I was told about Gallup Super Strength Glyphosate. Yes, it worked but you must treat it with some respect and follow the instructions to the letter.

Powerful, but difficult to measure without spillage
Have bought this weedkiller before, it works well enough, is very concentrated and subsequently very economical in use. However, the very cheap little measuring cup (you get 2) that holds 24ml (makes up one litre), is totally useless. It's flimsy and attempting to fill it all the way to the top, 5 times for a 5 litre garden "pump up" sprayer, will almost certain result in spills. I'm sure, considering the cost, the manufacturers could have included a small measuring jug, so that, not only to avoid spillage, but clearly much, much safer.Have bought this weedkiller before, it works well enough, is very concentrated and subsequently very economical in use. Dont waste your money or time!
Absolutely astonished that this product didnt work, even on the 3rd attempt, at 3 times the recommended strength, as the reviews are top class. Dont know whether this batch was out of date/just not what it said it was (oddly came with 2 loose labels attached with an elastic band) but I wouldnt waste your money. Applied with recommended sprayer in good still weather..... nothing Right pain in the neck as used to try and get rid of area of ground elder before big planting job and all had to be rescheduled due to its ineffectiveness. OK for grass and annuals
Gallup Home and Garden is Totally useless on weeds like Mare's tail and Nettles Sprayed as per instructions and at increased strengths up to 2X over the last month and its not even touched them. It was effective though on the annuals and grass but thats about it, Perhaps I should have spent a little more on the professional product with increased Glyphosate but I'm a little reluctant to put any more money Gallups way.
