Frank Sinatra plays Nathan Detroit, Masterson’s friend, in this musical, and the story also focuses on him and his fiancée, a dancer named Miss Adelaide, and her efforts to finally drag him to the alter. This DVD comes in widescreen, and it features subtitles, which can be displayed in Spanish, French, and English. The total run time for Guys and Dolls is 150 minutes. This movie features a number of extras including interviews, a photo gallery, and two documentaries. Anyone who loves musicals should certainly add Guys and Dolls to their collection.

The item took 22 days to arrive. I am not pleased with the packaging. The cd was sent wrapped in the cover art and track list information papers. The track list and art are bent and covered in tape, mailing address info and stamps. You should have at least wrapped it in paper. The disc is covered in scratches. The description said "Disc is in Like New condition" Luckily it was only a few dollars.

We have NO control over what USPS does. As for the packaging, the artwork was included FOR FREE. It's nonsensical to complain about something that you got for nothing; that's highly irrational behaviour. Most people in fact prefer the artwork, over plain paper. You are BANNED from all our listings, my friend!

Your response is ridiculous, I am never planning on dealing with you again. Thank you for banning me so that I don't accidentally see something you have to offer and consider purchasing it. Your listing says that there is free 2 to 4 day shipping. The listing also said that the cd was in like new condition which it was not. It also says you are from New York while the cd came from Michigan. I wish I had looked at the other feedback before purchasing from you. You will not waste my time again.

    Guys and Dolls find the right house of God

    Guys and Dolls 1955 Lerner & Lowe written musical is both entertaining and spiritual as well as great musical score. Jean Simmons carries the movie and proves that Salvation Army people can win over any "hood" with love and perseverance. Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra are perfect foils for the Salvation Army to overcome evil (relatively speaking) with good. Lots of Biblical symbolism is included. A pair of dice can really lead to paradise if you roll the right numbers at the right time and please God with your faith to move mountains. A Woman in Love is one of my all-time favorite songs.

    Guys & Dolls DVD 2006 Deluxe Edition

    In plain simple words, I LOVE this musical Guys and Dolls, and this Deluxe Edition DVD and 72 page booklet brought it home to me. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to see a show that makes you FEEL GOOD. It brings out all the emotions and best in you. The humor is irresistible; the music and dance scenes make you want to join in. The lead roles are great, and are supported by a wonderful cast of characters, period clothing and scenery. I chose the widescreen version and am very glad I did--Lots of details. The cars from the time period really brought back memories. If you have feelings, you'll love it. steamer51

    Great Musical, Middling Film.

    This is a so-so production of a wonderful musical. The director stripped it of its original New York vibe and made it too "Technicolor Hollywood."

    Sinatra, Brando! Great songs, and sets.

    Fantastic Movie, and features Sinatra and Brando. The performances from the entire cast are superb. Recommended. The Cuba scene with Jean Simmons and Brando was amazing. Gangsters that are tough and tender, and no matter how down on his luck Frank is, there is always Adelaide his true love!

    guys and dolls

    guys and dolls is one of the old classics . it has marlon brando and frank sinatra in it (how can you go wrong with those two actors). this movie is beloved because of all the song and dance . i have watched this movie over and over again and will bewatching it again real soon (i never get tired of this movie),as its been my favorited movie since i was a little girl. i used to watch this with my mom when i was a little girl its my fondest memory of my times with my mom. my husband who never saw this watched it with me the other day and sat thru the whole movie (hes not to fond of watching long movies )but sat thru this one and really enjoyed the movie i lve how they colorized this movie it really adds to the movie. all the singing and dancing is so fun to watch,and (BRANDO) even sing ...
