GOLDSTAR COMMERCIALS-TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
FORM OF CONTRACT
These terms and conditions apply to ALL goods sold by Goldstar Commercials,the supplier may change these T'S and C'S at any point without notice,in relation to future purchases.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
The description and price of the goods you order has been agreed between you and the supplier.The price is subject to VAT and a delivery charge where appropriate.Payment is to be made at the time the order is placed.Ownership of the goods then transfer to the customer.
ENGINES
Goldstar Commercials may require your old unit as a part exchange.If this is the case you will have been notified at the time you place the order.
It will also be written on the invoice.
If you fail to make the exchange unit available within 30 days or at another time agreed between you and the supplier(which ever occurs first)you must then pay a surcharge.
ALL EXCHANGE UNITS MUST BE RETURNED COMPLETE.ANY MISSING PARTS,SUCH AS DIESEL PUMPS WILL RESULT IN A SURCHARGE.ALL ENGINES MUST BE DRAINED OF OIL AND SECURED ONTO THE PALLET THE NEW UNIT COMES ON.ANY OIL SPILLAGES WILL INCUR A MINIMUM SURCHARGE OF £50+VAT.
Due to the fact we have not had ownership of the vehicles from new.we are unable to guarantee any mileages that may have been quoted at the time of sale.Any mileage given is correct to the best of our knowledge.
 
DELIVERY
All delivery times are estimated but the supplier will make every reasonable effort to deliver the goods at the earliest possible date once payment has cleared.The supplier cannot be held for any expenses you may incur caused by a delay in delivery.
Once delivery has been made you are responsible for any damage or loss.
WARRANTY AND LIMIT OF LIABILITY
The supplier confirms that they have the right to sell the goods and that they have the right to sell the goods and that they will be of satisfactory condition and quality(taking in account the age and type of goods#.
All items are sold with a 30 day warranty,with the exception of electrical items such as ECU'S and speedo heads and injection systems #fuel pumps and injectors)which unfortunately can not be covered.
If any other length of warranty is offered,it will be agreed at the point of sale and recorded on the invoice.
THE WARRANTY ON ANY ENGINE IS VOID IF THEY ARE NOT FITTED WITH NEW TIMING BELTS OR TIMING CHAINS,OIL,FILTERS,OR IF ANY ALTERATIONS OR MODIFICATIONS ARE MADE WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING GOLDSTAR COMMERCIALS.
THE WARRANTY ON ANY GEARBOX.TRANSFER BOX.AXLE OR DIFFERENTIAL WILL ALSO BE VOID IF THEY ARE NOT FITTED WITH NEW OILS.
The supplier is unable to cover items such as gaskets,seals,belts,pulleys or any other ancillary parts which may have been supplied with the product.
All engines are fitted with heat tabs,please make sure these tabs remain present and securely stuck to the item.If any of these are tampered with or removed.The warranty is void.
The warranty does not cover any damage,malfunction or injury that may arise through incorrect or inappropriate fitting.
The warranty will be void if any part supplied by Goldstar Commercials is dismantled or taken apart or tampered with in anyway without first contacting Goldstar Commercials.
If the product develops any problems the supplier must be informed verbally and in writing within the warranty period.The customer should take no further action until instructed by the supplier.
The entire liability of the supplier shall not exceed the total price paid for the goods,the supplier cannot be held responsible for any expenses you may incur when fitting or removing incorrect of faulty parts.
The supplier is unable to offer any warranty on any exported goods.
