I did find though, that the soft "non grip" style top was too tight, and always leaves quite deep ring indentation around my ankle, too much for me to buy these again. I would stress though, that this is a very personal/subjective viewpoit, which others may not find as an issue. Nicely made though with a visible, but unobstrusive, toe line.
