Seller notes: “Good+ condition copy, with a couple of faults - the right hand corner on the back of the book at ... “Good+ condition copy, with a couple of faults - the right hand corner on the back of the book at the bottom has been damaged, affecting the cover only. There is a small 2 x 1 cm section of the cover board and surface missing at the bottom of the spine on the back (there is no loss of readability or text from this). The top corner of the book (on the opening edge) has a small 3 x 2 cm mark on each page front and back where a clear liquid has got onto the page and marked it causing some smaller grey spots within that area (presumably these formed whilst drying). All the pages are dry - we assume that the liquid spill happened a long time ago; again, there is no loss of text or readability from this. The book remains a very decent copy despite the condition faults”

Hence £7.30 in double shipping despite one sent. Paid £0.95 VAT on purchase. Forced to redeem package for extra £6.50 in penalty VAT fees, due to seller neglected electronically provide IOSS when shipping. Refuses to compensate. No responsibility, blames lack of knowledge in trade on buyer and Brexit. Not recommended.

The Post Office did not create an electronic customs document correctly, which resulted in the buyer getting charged import tax by Swedish customs. The buyer was unreasonable - they ordered the books just before Christmas & paid the economy shipping charge (a 21 day delivery window) and then expected a discount, even though we had sent the parcel Tracked (3 day delivery) at our own expense. Although we offered a return & full refund, they declined, kept the books and wanted full compensation
