Great for people who do video editing to get HD videos to Apple TV or iPad
This is a fantastic product if you do a lot of video editing. Most common editing for mac users is converting .MKV files to m4v. Why? most HD video files on the internet are .MKV. its a great package for up to 1080p HD. But apple doesn't support it so you have to convert it to m4v using either Handbrake...Visual Hub (if yours still works), or Toast to get that HD video to your apple TV or iPad. Well now you have elgato's stick and software too. You have powerful options at your command. You can choose all the different variables....or use common presets. You can edit out commercials just like you can do with EYE TV (if you have that) Best thing is its cross comparable with all Elgato products including Roxio's Toast. TOAST and ...
