    One of the best fantasy gamebooks

    One of the very best of the Fighting Fantasy series of gamebooks. These are choose your own adventure style books where you make decisions for the character within the story, but with the addition of some optional dice rolling to add risk to sometimes life and death situations. You need your own dice but any six sided dice from a boardgame or on a phone app will do. As with most in the series, this book is set in a medieval era fantasy world of sword wielding heroes and green skinned orcs and the series has a fully fleshed out world to explore. This one takes place mostly in the dangerous streets and buildings of Port Blacksand which inspires an explorative mind!

    City of Thieves fighting fantasy gamebook

    Jolly good read and the most fun you can have with a paper, pen and two dice. Thoroughly recommend. The fighting fantasy series of books are generally pretty good in my view but this is perhaps one of the better ones.
