    Great for the grandkids I thought ,but I was as engrossed watching as they were. Really great filming showing the beauty and power of nature.

    Repeating clips from Blue Planet. Disappointed in some ways.

    some clips are copied from Blue Planet's "frozen seas", which were taken 10 years ago. The DVD has not acknowledged this and I felt disappointed as I've seen Blue Planet. In general, it is a good collection of views and the recording of real life of sea mammals. Good gift to give kids and they love animals and snow and ice.

    'Though provoking'

    A great way to learn about the Arctic and Antarctic. The mini-clips narrative on the end of each episode about how it was put together and the trials of filming were really good.
