Excellent all-round experience
Excellent experience from start to finish. The product details supplied by the trader were as informative as I could wish and entirely accurate. I knew what I wanted as a relative had this product and so I knew its quality was excellent. It combined all the features I wanted and I could not obtain a modern version of it as one of the features (the double cassette deck with recording facility) is no longer being produced. Panasonic quality is second to none in my experience and, having held out for this particular product, I was delighted when I found it. Delivery and packaging were faultless. How to fix the push button selection on Panasonic RX -ED50
The cassette decks sound quality was a bit poor maybe the belts needed changing. I changed about 20 micro switches and this cured all the front panel selection faults so everything now works correctly barring the cassettes sound quality

Excellent unit, get it while you can
Getting a bit old now, purchased in 2000 I think, but still provides excellent sound and good looks. The amazing thing about this stereo is the amount of precise bass they've been able to fit into such a small space. The stereo effect is very 3D and there's even a handy 1/8" port (headphone size) for you to connect your mp3 player with ease. Sound fills the room well, CD works perfectly, excellent product. Never really used the double tape- but it's there if you can possibly find a use for it. Perfect radio, we have got 5 of them and we use them daily
It is fantastic and very smart and helpful. Highly recommended. This radio records all the news daily, it has a timer and we don't have to worry about missing anything. We love it, and it is better than most modern radios. We love it .
