An old style vibrato system for modern times.
I was at a boutique guitar store and saw a semi hollow Gibson guitar. It had this tremolo on it. It seemed much simpler than the Bigsby system and much lighter. I found one on ebay. I knew it was going to go on a guitar with a flat top. I have an SG from a few years ago. I tried placing the unit on other guitars, but I knew it would pair well with the SG. I figured out where it would fit on the guitar, then put masking tape on the surface. I aligned the three holes so the unit would be in place. I put marks on the tape and drilled the three holes. I then removed the tape and screwed the base plate on. Then I slid the top part into the groove and put my strings on. This is much better than the dreaded Bigsby. it does not have a spring to fall out, and stringing up is far easier. As for ... I was at a boutique guitar store and saw a semi hollow Gibson guitar. You can bend notes low by pushing down, and raise pitch bends by pulling back or turning the arm to the back and pressing down. The price the seller gave me was good too. I had seen the unit at more than double on some sites. A great purchase indeed.
