The Samsung SEF-15A flash is a shoe mount flash compatible with Samsung NX and EX cameras. This Samsung flash has a guide number of 15 m/ISO 100, which means it can illuminate a distance of about 15 meters when used with ISO 100. The Samsung SEF-15A flash features an A-TTL (advanced through-the-lens) flash type and also has a manual flash mode. This Samsung flash is compact, measuring 5.56 cm by 7.26 cm, and is only 4.72 cm high. The Samsung SEF-15A flash also is lightweight, weighing 79.39 g without the batteries. With regard to batteries, the shoe mount flash uses two AAA alkaline or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. The optimum temperature and humidity ranges for this flash are 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsiust and from 5 percent to 85 percent, respectively. The compact design and easy-to-obtain batteries make this Samsung flash a popular choice for amateur photographers looking for a mid-range, portable flash.

I have a Samsung NX-200. Now this beast is an excellent camera, and is supplied with a little external flash which runs off the camera's internal battery. Two problems with this supplied flash - lack of power and drain on the camera's battery. What you get with one of these external flashes is an extra battery that runs the flash itself. This means you're not forever looking at the camera's own battery indicator and wondering. The second thing you get is a BIT more power. Not a lot - but a bit. The advantages are not massive, but the flash is small and the cost is low ... so why not?I have a Samsung NX-200. Excellent little flash unit.
I got this to go on my samsung nx1000. Very nice compact flash unit, Lightweight easy to fit and comes with it's own bag. I am very impressed that a small unit like this can give such good results.
