Pretty Rockin'
This is a great little player if you're looking for something compact and sleek. The pre installed firmware however is laggy and slow so I decided to change it to 'Rockbox' Its much faster now and waaaay more versatile. I'm now able to play many different file types I couldnt before, create and save custom eq settings as well as create custom GUIs, change the pitch and playback speed as well as gap-less playback for those progressive rock albums we all love so much! If you're a but of a music geek or audiophile you'll love this alternative firmware. Installing Rockbox is a breeze! You'll finds step by step instructions on how to fully install the new Rockbox firmware if you simply visit the Rockbox website. The cons - -No buttons If you like to change tracks in your pocket then you can ... This is a great little player if you're looking for something compact and sleek. Might seem like a nit pick but after a while it does become slightly annoying -No recording functionality No mic, line in or any sort of live recording functions.

Don't get me wrong there is nothing negative to say about this nice little MP3 the only problem is that the Older Model(Centre Dial) it replaced was actually better than the newer version. This is reflected by the fact that on the now unfortunately rare occasion that the older style becomes available it is more expensive than the newer version. The main advantage of both versions however is the ability to instantly swap your music and other data from one mp3 or other source to another even if the first is broken and massively expand your memory by using the Micro SD slot. My daughter was able to use this feature to move over over 4000 tracks instantly ,no down load time,no angsting over broken MP3 and lost tracks For the life of me I don't know why other manufacturers haven't adopted ... Fantastic pice of kit at a brilliant price - HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED !
This is a great MP3 player and fantastic value for money. I plays MP3, video, audio books, photos, FM radio and has a voice recorder. My dughter wanted an ipod touch like her sister but I couldn't afford one so got this instead and she is over the moon. She prefers it to the touch as she's not into silly apps and it was a fraction of the price. Build quality is superb, it's cpmpact and and it's so easy to use. I would highly recommendit to anyone.This is a great MP3 player and fantastic value for money. I plays MP3, video, audio books, photos, FM radio and has a voice recorder. This item looked stylish and was reasonably priced. The sound and video quality is excellent and the product is easy to use.

Looks nice but touch screen makes it a frustrating MP3 player
Have used the older Sansa MP3 players before and been very impressed but the latest Sansa fuze is a disappointment. On the plus side, you can use micro SD cards to expand the memory and it has a nice glossy screen for viewing music videos etc.. The battery also lasts fairly long considering. However, every time I turn it on it takes ~5mins to "update the card", much longer than the older versions. But most annoyingly in order to put the MP3 player "on hold" you have to push the play button which works, however, to unlock the keypad you simply scroll up the panel. This scrolling motion appears to unlock the mp3 player whenever you put it in your pocket. Also after some time it seems to just unlock and with the button panel being so sensitive it keeps skipping etc.. The old fashioned button ... Have used the older Sansa MP3 players before and been very impressed but the latest Sansa fuze is a disappointment.
