all in one and no need for docking , excellent kit

Great product but takes a little experimentation for best results
I bought my AV500 for use with flying model airplanes. I fly using a video link to pilot the model via a TV on the ground. The AV500 records the images using a small phono splitter. I had to buy the Travel Adaptor for using the record function without the TV dock. I suggest you look out for whether your unit includes this as its a little pricey to buy afterwards. (Around £10) The unit took a little getting used to in terms of putting other videos onto it, I used a video converter before loading them and I found that using MPEG coding to produce a .avi file works the best. I haven't fully discharged a battery yet so for me the battery life will be fine. The manuals that come with it (Book or PDF) are a little short on critical information I wanted so be prepared to search a few forums ... I bought my AV500 for use with flying model airplanes. this is an amazing gadget,loads better than any ipod touch,buy it you wont regret it.pics videos musics even hook it up to your telly to watch what ever you have on its hard drive on the big screen.plus theres loads of extras you can get like a mini cam to make your vids.best thing i've ever bought off ebay.and so easy to use.

Brilliant as a motorbike camera
The AV500 is an amazing product. We took ours to Germany and have some amazing footage. The nicest thing is being able to delete stuff without having to connect it up to the computer in order to do that. Would highly recommend this as a camera. haven't used it as an MP3 yet but am sure it will be just as brilliant that way as well.
