  • Just Good

Being a long time Palm/Palm Os user I had my heart set on a Palm T series but after reading many reviews and talking with co-workers that use Dell/Pocket PC, I made the switch. One of the primary decisions was due to the fact that the T series that I was looking at did not have built in WiFi. I've been using my X50V for about a month now and I LOVE IT!! WHY IT GETS AN '8' + The screen resolution is beautiful and the portrait/landscape option is wonderful + It synchs effortlessly with my office Outlook + The variety of writing input methods is a real bonus + 3D games really show off its power + Quick-browsing the Web is nice and I can even control my other PCs through Remote Desktop. COOL! + WiFi & BlueTooth! + SD & CF Slots! WHY IT DIDN'T GET A '9' - Battery life does suck somewhat but ...

  • great little device with many features to make it even better value

It's an amazing product. I would always advise people to purchase dell PDA's. this particular model is absolutely stunning, with it's fast processor, and good quality screen, you won't be disappointed. The Dell Wireless App takes a bit of wrangling with, but once it's up and running, it's great. very quick connection, and very good range. Positives: * Light enough to be portable * Strong build quality - very good casing * the touch-screen is operatable by finger or stylus. * There's an easily accesible wireless button * the speaker is good enough for listening to music * standard headphone jack Negatives: * Dell support can be a bit of a pain * Wireless can be a pain in the butt to set up * if you have bluetooth and wireless on, battery drains very quickly. And for those of you who ...

  • Dell PDA X50 for people on the road.

I think think this product is really useful for people like myself; I am on the road & need to write quick reports and enter data to an excell worksheet. I can transfer the data via SD card or bluetooth to my laptop and I save about 2 hours per week of my home time by using this item. Great value for money and, being an older version of Microsoft Mobile, it is compatible with the 'older laptop' and all the Microsoft Office 2003 programmes like Word and Excell of that era.

  • Good for price I paid,a few things unmentioned butnot badnot sumthing major

I bout the dell Axium x50 from the seller Robert that I write this review about on ebay. The dell axium was quite good the description he gave on his main page was accurate apart form he forgot to mention there was a small chip of plastic in the bottom right hand corner. Also the pen that you use instead of your fingers does not stay in the slot at the top I had to use some tape to keep it there and take the tape off when I want to use it and put the tape on the back of the pda while i' am using the pen. Also no network card and the battery lasts only 40mins out of a full battery. The two- tree lines that he mentioned on the screen were okay but I found all in all a good buy for 10 quid but his description was not the highest of accuracy but fair enough, it was good enough for the price I ...
