Super product and top value for money
This is a nice lightweight and compact camera, the picture quality is crisp and so is the sound. One feature in this camera is wind noise reduction that I really like when using it outdoors on a windy day.Menu is easy to use, but the text is a little small to read, and the viewfinder is not tiltable. Has s good battery life on the standard supplied batt, but larger capacity batts are avail. at a reasonable price. The cost was to me very good as this is as good as a brand new item, the cables, carry case all new. Mini DV Camcorder
Bought to replace a similar JVC Mini Tape DV Camcorder model that had broken. We had too many family growing up recorded tapes to store away for ever and we wanted the basic equipment to replay them. The Camera workes very well and came as good as new with charger in a protective case. My only critisisum is that we did not reciecve a lead to conect to the TV.

pleased with purchased?
I have a micro DV camera, bought for £12 on eBay, and it's brilliant. However you cannot see what you are filming, hence the reason for buying the JVC GR-D240 I am very pleased with the purchase, and have sent of for a PC cable, and a five and a half hour battery. The camera is easy to use, compact, and not too heavy. It has a lot of useful features which I am still getting used to.

I like its day time picture quality. I hate its picture quality in low light & because it has no usB connection. I bought it because I do not have enough money to buy a better one.
