Similar in concept to the 16-bit Sonic Spinball games and the GBA's Mario Pinball Land, Metroid Prime Pinball combines the character-based adventure and exploration of a platform game with pinball mechanics and party-table styled levels. In the single player mode, Samus Aran rolls up in a ball and must navigate a series of six large, pinball table environments, full of bonuses, power-ups, and hidden areas that prompt shooting and platform-jumping mini-games. At the end of each table is a boss character, each with a distinct style of attack (and an equally distinct hidden weakness). Metroid Prime Pinball also supports a multiplayer mode, for as many as eight players, through a wireless DS connection.

    Samus goes Tilt... Steel Ball PINBALL. OH YEAH!!!

    The Metroid series has ALWAYS been one of my favorites, and with this spinoff i WAS sceptical!!! In fact... So much i almost missed out, until i watched a Youtube review! Samus as a pinball, Well... That actually makes sense!!! Plus... This game is much more than a simple pinball machine, with a Metroid theme! You engage the enemy directly, as samus can exit ball phase. Shoot missiles, fight bosses etc! During ball phase, you can use bombs to help protect samus from enemy attacks! All during a pinball style game play, these other gameplay mechanics engage! Simply AWESOME!!! Not sure if you are convinced here yet? Don't take my word, Watch a review on Youtube. If you are a TRUE Metroid fan, you'll love this!!!

    Metroid Prime Pinball

    I really enjoy the Metroid series and pinball, so when they are the same game, it is amazing! The gameplay is so fun and it still feels like Metroid Prime. It has a problem though. It could not work on my DS, unless I tilted it to the left and then put the game in. After that, the game worked fine. Thank yams.

    One of my favorite DS games

    I love this game. At first I wasn’t sure I would like a pinball game but I love the Metroid series so I tried it and to my surprise it is one of my all time favorite DS games ever.
