    The No1 Ladies Detective Agency series is totally addictive. It is gently charming and amusing with very good believable characters that have a fully rounded set of idiosyncrisies. The language and vocabulary are wide, and some expressions are leitmotif to each person.

    Great novel, hope there will be another in the series

    have read all the other Alexander Mccall Smith books in the No1 Ladies Detective Agency series. They are excellent light reading are set in Botswana which is a beautiful country.
