Great BBC series finally on DVD!
Wonderful BBS that they said would never be issued on DVD. Anthony Way in his premier appearance performed as well as, if not better than the veteran actors. If you ever wanted to know how the British cathedral choirs of men and boys work, this is a film to see. Just make sure you have a DVD player that will play non-NTSC videos. Fortunately, I do!

Another great British production.
Wonderful story portrayed by marvellous cast. Anyone connected to the C of E will be thrilled with this - in the style of Barchester Chronicles. Subtitles mean we hard-of-hearing folk catch every word (including background asides) and help give us full pleasure.

Lovely gentle film
Always enjoyed it as a book and as a t v serial. Great acting lovely setting in the Cathedral and it's environs. Was sad to learn the actress who played Sally died recently. If you can get hold of it do buy it I'm sure you will enjoy it
