The only thing I had an issue with was Royal Mails tracking system that would not update, and had to ring to chase delivery. This isn't a reflection of the seller as is the delivery company. Good Comedy
Used to watch this as a kid. Loved it then love it now. I'm buying all my old favorites from back in the 60s 70s & 80s I admit some I was too young to have appreciated but you watch and enjoy as you get older. There's no comedy writers anymore, thought R Curtis was good till he did the political VoD episode at Christmas. App comedy these days is too PC for my liking. Some good old comedy is good for the sense of humor Used to watch this as a kid. Loved it then love it now. Nice easy to use dvd box. Good reshowing of this old comedy program. Like most old comedy much more amusing in memory than in reality. Still very good if the seventies type atmosphere is filtered out. The best part is the opening credits which features the hero walking away from Tooting Broadway underground in what seems like a strange foreign city. At least not like the richly diversified Tooting of today. All that in thirty years. Totally amazing. The future will be much worse but no one cares.Nice easy to use dvd box. Not to be missed,nothing like it.
I bought this after seeing Robert Lyndsey in Get some in, another great old series, he's in Citizen Smith and he plays a very good part as well as the other's one of them being Peter Vaughn who played Mr. Grout in Porridge, and this is a very different part for him which he played brilliantly, I missed this series first time round but so glad to get a chance to see it. I have sent for series 3/4. Anarchy in tooting
I loved this comedy series a lot and was so pleased to be able to get both series. The comedy was of the times but now looks dated but Robert Lindsey was at his best as wolfy smith and the other the characters around him made the programme a absolute gem .
