    It's an air filter, it filters air and fits well (the most important bits)

    Given it 4 stars because it fitted as good as a factory filter and does the job as expected, which is better than expectation with aftermarket parts. It would have got a 5 star "amazing" rating had it fitted itself in place, valeted my car and made me a coffee. That would be well above expectation. I would have been truly amazed... Fitting is a bit of a faff on the RX300 due to having to disconnect the AFM wiring, vacumm hoses and the intake hose before you can lift the lid off the airbox. Oh and the airbox is secured with 10mm bolts rather than clips that need no tools. Can't blame an air filter for that though, that's Lexus' fault. As it was, it fits well, does the job and instantly gains me 2mpg. Shows how clogged the old one was. That's what you get when you buy a car with limited ...
