Quality product in use and appearance.
I purchased this because a friend and I had researched this product and liked what we read. I ordered it for a new tank I was setting up. Here are my experiences with Torpedo Beach Sand. It has a natural appearance like bleached tropical sand with crushed shell mixed in. In the aquarium it has a lumious glow, and a month in it still sparkles. Like the makers have said it needs no cleaning or light surface cleaning. It has just enough weight that it is picked up into the vacuums first chamber but not sucked into the tube and beyond. The sand is structured so that no toxic gas pockets form. The sand particles are founded so rooting fish are not injured. My findings convinced my friend, so that he is going to use Torpedo Beach Sand when he sets up his LARGE new aquarium soon. ...
