Product Information

Based on Nickelodeon's made-for-television movie, Safari Rescue has preschoolers helping Diego and friends in seven animal-themed activities. A mean magician has turned the Serengeti's elephants into stone and it's up to children to rescue them. All activities are played solely with the mouse, whether it's clicking on bushes to find lions or assembling puzzle pieces to create vehicles from Diego's rescue pack. Two difficulty levels are available, and youngsters can freely revisit their favorite games by clicking icons on a safari map. As an added bonus, the game lets children print out six animal pictures to color.

Pretty easy to use
This is a nice game for preschoolers. My son is a huge Diego fan so I got this game thinking maybe he'd like "helping" Diego. However, he may still be a little young for it--he's almost 2 1/2 years old. He understands the jump button, but can't do the running or shaking the trees without help. Also, it wore him out so we only played on it for only a short while. I think it's best for kids his age to stay on it only for a short time and then only with mom and/or dad's participation. I don't want my son to be a video zombie, but I'd like to let him have some fun with one of his favorite cartoon characters and this is the right game for it. Great game for very young children
Great for children who do not have any experience with video games. This was easier for my son than Mario on my old NES. For children who do not use computers or play video games often, this helps introduce them to the technology age they will definately belong to. I have been putting off video games because of all the negative aspects but, Diego does not ever die or get hurt so it is very nice. There is no shooting unless he is shooting a rope zip line. I am very pleased they made a game like this, and Dora. It is as calm as Pong, besides the excitement from the kids collecting their treasures. Super game for kids!
Fun and very interactive. Controls are easy to use and the instructions are clear and concise. My daughter is 2 1/2 and she loves it. The graphics are PS2 quality with great sounds. Don't hesitate if your kids love the Dora and Diego series.
