    Your Guide to not Getting Murdered in a Quaint Englixh Village is so inviting, in my mind. I watch british mysteries and this falls right in place.

    I received the book in great condition. I have not had a chance to read it but will once I am through teaching for the academic year. Looking forward to enjoying the restful moments.

    Just misses the mark

    What could have been entertaining in the right hands, just isn't. Too many missed opportunities for humor that the dedicated reader of English mysteries will spot immediately. Lacks sophistication, and the illustrations are in no way comparable to Gorey's beautiful and subtle work. It's a quick read, but unworthy of being described as a keeper. Good title, but very disappointing follow-through.
