Best Rock Band Ever
this is a great product - 4 dvd boxset with 7 1/5 hours of viewing pleasure. two amazing concerts on the first two disks that definitely need blasting out loud on the surround sound speakers. the other two disks cover stuff like behind the scenes footage, new songs and stuff like that. a wonderful collection covering everything you could want all in one set and proving the stones most definitely still have what it takes to be the best rock band ever. i have nothing negative at all to say about this, nothing to dislike and all i could say was the plastic wrap covering was a bit hard to get off but that is me speaking with tongue firmly in cheek for the sake of something bad to say =) i decided to buy the biggest bang dvd box set because i already had the album on cd (also awesome) and ... this is a great product - 4 dvd boxset with 7 1/5 hours of viewing pleasure. two amazing concerts on the first two disks that definitely need blasting out loud on the surround sound speakers. the other two disks cover stuff like behind the scenes footage, new songs and stuff like that. a wonderful collection covering everything you could want all in one set and proving the stones most definitely still have what it takes to be the best rock band ever. i have nothing negative at all to say about this, nothing to dislike and all i could say was the plastic wrap covering was a bit hard to get off but that is me speaking with tongue firmly in cheek for the sake of something bad to say =) i decided to buy the biggest bang dvd box set because i already had the album on cd (also awesome) and new the stones had been doing this tour breaking records for largest profit made on a single tour and was only hearing positive stuff so when i heard there was going to be a 4 dvd boxset i knew instantly that i had to buy it. i could have gone to the shops and bought it but in this day and age it is just as quick and easy to buy it on ebay. if you like the stones you won't be disappointed purchasing this product and if you are new to the stones i would recommend buying this because it won't be long before you are converted and failing that you could give it to a friend as a birthday or xmas present =)

AS GOOD AS IT SAYS ON THE BOX
Having only recently purchased the Stones last 4 disc monster DVD box 'Four Flicks' - I had degree's of trepadation about them being able to repeat the exercise with another 4 disc extravaganza only a few years after the last one... Of course they pulled it off, this huge set easily holds it's own with it's predecessor and some bits are even better... Disc four for instance has a wonderful indepth documentary, looking at several of the major events that happened during the course of the tour... Playing China for the first time. The half time performance at the Superbowl. An audience of up to 2 million on the beach for a free gig in Rio D'Janerio. The madness of Argentina and Italy after the world cup... Wonderful viewing.. There's also a lovely selection of mini docs on the same discs, ... As well as several filmed duet performances with Bonnie Raitt, Eddie Vedder, Dave Matthews... The gigs covered over the course of the other 3 discs include the performances at Austin Texas, Rio D' Janerio, China, Japan and Argentina.. All in all enough brilliantly filmed concert footage to keep any Stones fan well occupuied till the next tour and subsequent box set materialises.... ++++++++

I remember when the Stones first hit the big time. The received wisdom was that they would not last twelve months. Twelve years was unthinkable. Forty years? Whoever heard of a sixty year old rocker. But then, rock music was very much in it's infancy. This four disc dvd demonstrates just how much it has grown up. In full length concerts from Rio's Copacabana Beach and Zilker Park, Austin, Texas, and highlights from Buenos Aries, Saitama and Shanghai, Mick Jagger and co. demonstrate their talents have in no way diminished over the years with songs from the early days onwards. So many highlights on the first three discs that show the concerts! And the tour documentary on disc four with comments from the boys and it's own bonus features is a welcome addition.
