    The Cisco 3700 series is an excellent platform

    While i primarily use them for lab and personal use, the i have many cisco 3725 and 3745 routers doing anything from voip termination with callmanager express, to hardware accelerated ipsec crypto tunnel termination. They support webvpn for SSL vpn connections, and the larger is capable of 100mbps performance when properly configured. The network modules and WIC slots permit a huge variety of interfaces and capabilities. Overall anybody looking for an affordable cisco device to terminate high speed internet connections (FIOS, UVERSE, and slower cable and dsl) this WILL do the job. This is the affordable full featured voice, security, remote access, and data device.

    Model 3725 Cisco Router-

    Cisco routers last forever and this one is no exception. Fairly modern IOS which is one of the favorites for GNS3. Solid router that stands the test of time.
