Since I wanted to add two PV strings of different power to two separate solar charge controllers I could have bought another 2-Pole switch but would have taken up more space. This replacement is similar size to 2-Pole switch and allows me to shut off solar at single point. Make sure to carefully read how the incoming and outgoing cables connect. This varies depending on how you intend to use switch

Its stated rating is somewhat confusing as it is very dependent on the wiring arrangement employed. Maybe the wiring details could be included in the posting.
