    Character sheet pages missing from Players Handbook, Map missing from Dungeon Masters Guide. Otherwise complete and in great shape. Players Handbook, Dungeon Maters Guide, and Monster Manual included.

    I believe a necessity

    A group of us began D&D and picked up on 3.5 edition. This monster manual is great for random encounter generation, and also has nice sections for creating your own types of each creature. Overall it is easy to use, monsters are in alphabetical order of creature type, and each type has a few more detailed versions of that type. Then there are random vermin as well. Overall it is a good detailed manual for the stats of a variant amount of mobiles that could be found on your adventure.

    This is an essential addition to a 3.5e DMs bookshelf.

    This book is a necessary addition to any DMs bookshelf, if you run a 3.5e campaign. It has all the essential creatures from the D&D world as well as the important details of creating your own monsters (my favorite part). As long as you remember that this manual is a guideline and framework for monsters to use, not a requirement, you will love it. Some of the monsters are somewhat silly, but even the weirdest monsters in the book have great ideas for parts to add to your own creations. Also, plenty of template monsters (Skeletons, vampires, ghosts etc.) allow you to customize other monsters to your specifications or needs. If you're considering DMing with 3.5 get this book and make some monsters!

    A Wealth of Monsterous Information.

    The Monster Manual is a great tool for any Dungeon Master playing Dungeons & Dragons 3.5. The book is full of useful information, great pictures and the tools for playing interesting creatures. For anyone wanting to play Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 the Monster Manual is more useful then the Dungeon Masters Guide. I check this book more then any other when playing a game and it is well worth buying and adding to your collection.
