About this product

Product Information

WTF: Work Time Fun is a collection of 40 mini-games designed to be amusing, quirky, and downright silly. You begin by receiving four jobs to perform from the game's Job Demon, and your success at completing each task will earn you cash and unlock more jobs to conquer. You are required to complete such abnormal activities as "Chick Sorting," "Drunken Mayor," and the "Lumberjack Challenge." In "Chick Sorting," you must sort the baby chickens according to sex and lifelessness. "Drunken Mayor" pumps your official avatar with lots of alcohol until the ribbon cutting ceremony seems downright dangerous. Make sure to chop the wood and not the woodland creatures that get mixed into the bundle in the "Lumberjack Challenge."

Finishing your jobs earns you a paycheck that can be spent at the gumball machine to unlock 450 trinkets including throwing stars, pictures, and rings. These items can be traded between players in "Hell's Cantina," the PSP Ad-hoc mode. In "Hell's Cantina," you can challenge others to jobs that will pay each player based on your performance. The kitchen also includes an "Outsourcing" option that allows you to share single- and multiplayer games with someone who does not have a game disc. However, any cash earned by said player is transferred back into your account. WTF: Work Time Fun also features such odd options as a calculator, flashlight, and ramen timer.

    Best time waster ever

I've kept returning to this game since 2009! 7 years... It's super funny how weird this game is and it's packed with a ton of games that you can mindlessly play and put down at any moment in your dull life. And these are games that will truly test your skill; reflex, patience, rhythm, you name it. These are valuable skills to take with you in life. You earn money from playing these games, and the longer you last the more money you get. It will make you work for every valuable dollar you earn. With this money, you can buy little random knick-knacks from vending machines, some $1 per trinket, going up to even $50 each. This, along with getting emails after sessions, has added a ton of longevity to this game that other minigame collections never have. There's a sense of progression and ...

  • Work Time Fun for PSP, Fun and Unique

I originally purchased this game because it seemed really unique. I wanted some kind of mini game collection to add to my psp library. This one seemed to be the most unique of all the ones available. Overall this game is great. You start the game and you are a temp for hire by the job demon (or something like that). You start with just 3 mini games. You play these games to earn paychecks. The checks start off really small, but as you unlock minigames the checks become larger. You unlock more minigames by using your money in the vending machines. There are 1 dollar, 5 dollar, 10 dollar, and 50 dollar vending machines. There are a total of about 400 trinkets, 10 tools, and I think about 40 mini games in all to unlock. There is no special prize for getting all of the trinkets ...

  • Fun at first, quickly wears itself out

I bought it expecting a quirky Japanese mini-games type game, and that's what I got. Well...sort of. Instead of the Warioware type of mini-games, it ranges from the insanely hard to insanely boring. By playing the mini games (referred to as jobs in the game), you earn money to spend on vending machines. They contain useless but cute trinkets, tools that can be used in real life via the PSP (ramen timer was LOL), and finally more mini games. However, what you get is really random, and you'll find that your hard-earned money (trust me, it really is hard to earn money) will disappear very, very quickly. The game overall was entertaining, filled with lots of Japanese humor, but it only should be played when there is nothing else handy.

  • MINI GAME MASTERPIECE

If you like mini games this one's for you. Addictive, fun, and lots of games to keep your mind sharp. A little pricey for a complete copy but harder to find and worth it. Highly Recommended!!!

  • "Work" for 40 Minigames, some are boring some are cool

You begin with only 4 Games and have to play them to earn money. The games are really "retro", elder gamers will know some from the 80's. With the most boring games you will earn the most cash. You get more minigames by spending your money in different vending machines. You'll love some of the games and hate others... There are 40 minigames, 10 tools and over 300 items to win. In the onlinemodus you may give games to other psp-ownerst and earn money when the play with them. You can also exchange items.
