Useful and time saving.
This Pyrex Measuring Jug is quite a large capacity. I find it extremely useful at the moment as owing to the Lockdown or Brexit, I don't seem to be able to get any fresh fruit so keep making fruit jelly in my Pyrex Jug by dissolving a table jelly in 1/2 pint boiling water, then adding tinned fruit in juice up to 1pint. I then put the whole jug in the fridge to set and it saves on washing up as I can serve the jelly directly from the jug into small dishes! I am looking forward to using it to make batter on Shrove Tuesday. I haven't tried it yet, but my old measuring jug was full if I made a pint of batter and there would be some spills as you have to keep beating the batter. Ordered this to replace my broken jug. It’s a great size for cooking and baking. Really useful as it’s big enough to use an electric hand mixer - eggs, sauces etc. My favourite for making a pint of custard in the microwave and then stir in a tub of mascarpone cheese. Trust me it’s the best custard you’ll ever taste! 😋👍.

The best thing about it is it's glass which means you can put fruit juice ,cordial, fat oil or strong herbs and spices it dosnt take on their tastes so you can make gravey in it swill it out make jelly in it then clean it and use it for milk and measurements are accurate also can stand very hot and bmvery cold temperatures
