It said 9/40. A 40 is generally (on most size charts) a 10. I always wear a 39 or a 39.5. If I'd known they said 40, I wouldn't have bought them. My only suggestion would be to post both sizes in the description Seller takes returns but I can't be bothered over 35 dollars, so I'm keeping them. THAT SAID, the delivery was fast, all communication was excellent!
