This seller sent me the wrong item. They asked me to return it and said they would refund postage. Fair enough I thought - mistakes happen. 11 days later and still no refund despite various reminders. I’ve had mixed messages and excuses but no refund. Lots of hassle and so can’t recommend. If roles had been reversed there would have been profuse apologies, gratitude and swift (actually pre!) payment of return post.

Is funny how people leave out key issues, I have tried many time to partial refunds, but there's a tech issues with either ebay or my bank, I asked the buyer for her acc d's so I could refund directly, she said no!!!, I have answered all her messages and gave her updates and offered to send her the ebay transcripts showing how I have been in contact with ebay to try and sort this out. I would never leave anything left undone or unsorted. Ebay asked her to do soemthing and she didn't, shame...

Ebay have not asked me to do anything.
A competent seller can do a refund on any sale, whole or partial, without needing the buyer to request it or even to make contact. There is no “request partial refund” option that he says I should do.
I do not give out my bank details and I expect most people understand why.
He says he would “never leave anything left undone”…. but I’ve still not had that refund!
